Miso Granola




Miso-flavoured granola that you can prepare & store to enjoy everyday or give away as a present to someone. Recipe for about 2 cups.


  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil (e.g. rape seed oil, olive oil, coconut oil)

  • 1/4 cup sweetener (e.g. agave syrup, honey, maple syrup)

  • 2 Tbsp miso

  • 1/2 cup coarsely chopped nuts (e.g. almonds, hazelnut, pecans)

  • 1 1/2 cup rolled oats


  • Preheat oven to 150° C. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, starting with the wet ingredients and later adding the dry ones, and mix well.
  • Spread the mixture on a baking pan and press it down firmly with a spatula. Bake for 20-30 minutes, stirring halfway through. Granola is ready when golden brown.
  • Let the granola cool down. It can be kept in an airtight container for about a month. Enjoy with yogurt and fruits!
